APPEARANCE: Clad mostly in a combination of rags, and second-hand bazaar clothes, Yaya Dub is a low-class citizen with no ounce of luxury in her attire. She's quite short, at 4'11". Her hair is brown, and is tied at the back. A red bandanna keeps her head protected from the elements, and keeps her sweat from dripping down her face. Her hands, though small, are filled with calluses due to heavy work. She is quite scrawny but due in part to her harsh upbringing, she is strong for her size.
PERSONALITY / TRAITS: Yaya Dub is street-savvy and quick on her feet. She was not able to attend any formal schooling because she was born poor. But even without any normal education, she is a good judge of character and knows how to make proper decisions. She always follows her heart and does whatever she wants, as she needs that to survive in the world. A former thief, Yaya Dub has fast reflexes and she is as nimble and agile as a cat. She has since turned away from a dishonest career when she found legit work in mines and cargo trading routes. She also knows how to operate a mobile suit, but only for work purposes, not for fighting.
HISTORY: Yaya Dub is an orphan. Her parents were casualties of the opening days of the Lunar War. After Grandma Nidora died, Yaya began to live alone and learned to cook and fend for herself. Because Nidora was poor, she had nothing to bequeath to Yaya Dub, and so she entered a lot of crazy business like thievery and other forms of stealing.
After being arrested 4 times, Yaya Dub was given by the policeman a chance to reform herself. He told her to go work in the mountains as a rock miner. There she became familiar with using a mobile suit and learned to condition her body to operate heavy machinery. As a side effect of her work, her growth was stunted but she became hardened for tough environments. | |
