APPEARANCE: The dashing inheritor of the Wakusei family is a tall man with red hair and green eyes. He is very fit, an effect of going to the gym everyday. Clean in appearance, and always smelling of high-end perfume, Hosaka is a head turner, capturing the hearts of many women. He is very stylish and demands utter perfection when it comes to his outfits. Hosaka also refuses to wear the regular uniform of the TBS, instead preferring custom variants of the uniform in an effort to make him stand out from the rest.
PERSONALITY / TRAITS: Fitting his membership in the elite True Blue Sphere division of the AEO, Hosaka is mean, ruthless and dangerous, and he looks good while being at it. He is a capable mobile suit pilot that has mastered the art of aerial and space combat. Often pulling dangerous maneuvers in mid-air, Hosaka has garnered a high reputation and considers himself as an ace. He derisively looks down on regular Azure Earth pilots and sees them as just disposable plastic soldiers. Hosaka also has exquisite tastes in wine and food. His high status as the scion of a noble family made him rotten and spoiled, and he will pull strings within the government so he can get what he wants.
HISTORY: Hosaka is the son of the AEO Senator Heisaka Wakusei. This gives him preferential treatment when it comes to appointments in the government. Senator Wakusei is a corrupt official who accepts brides to pass laws, and these laws often put great pressure on Zeitgeist and other nations not allied with the AEO. In fact, it is with Senator Wakusei's help that his son was able to enter the ranks of TBS without undergoing the standard procedures.
Hosaka's caprices have become subject of great scrutiny even among his own, but they can't do anything about it due to the influence his family wields. However, the younger Wakusei is a formidable pilot and can hold his own even among the best pilots. He has grown familiar with the use of the Cumulo-Nimbus and even perfected his signature mid-air transformation attack, where the machine quickly transforms into robot mode and quickly slices the enemy before pulling away. | |
