Maia Arbalest ensures that she is always well-groomed and neatly dressed. A stickler for order, Maia keeps her hair nicely styled and has good hygiene all over her. She is a quiet but sporty young lass, and her body shows her love for exercise and hard work. Her face is youthful and lively.

PERSONALITY / TRAITS:
Gentle yet headstrong, Maia Arbalest aspires to serve her country to the best that she can. She was raised to be polite, noble, and virtuous. Maia only wishes to uphold Zeitgeist's ideals in this turbulent world, but she witnessed the corruption within the main branch. Seeking her lost idealism, Maia transferred to Tres Exodos under the leadership of the Shiranui Clan. Here, she honed her skills and sharpened her efforts. Additionally, Maia is very chivalrous and has sworn to protect whoever is her master.

Maia also possesses ideal domestic qualities, and despite her being a soldier, she is a good cook and knows plenty of housework. She prefers to iron her own clothes and wash her own laundry.

HISTORY:
As the scion of a lesser noble house, Maia is bound to serve the Zeitgeist's higher nobility as her parents did before her. She and her family were not particularly allied to any major family within the Uniom, but they have pledged their honor for the greater glory of Zeitgeist. Maia's education was not that expensive but she consistently achieved good grades due to her hard work and diligence.

At age 15, Maia was enrolled at a military school for Zeitgeist soldiers. She was at that time, inexperienced, but she quickly grew and matured when she realized that the longer the war drags on, the more lives will be lost. She swore in to the service at 19, taking on a beginner's rank and wrked her way to become and Ensign.

Sometime earlier this year, Maia had been called on to the Shiranui side of Zeitgeist, and from there she understood that they were fighting the war improperly all along. With her sense of pride and honor rejuvenated, Maia continues to pledge her services to the Zeitgeist Union, and in particular the Shiranui family.
