Technical and Historical Notes:
-The Prawn is CHROME's successor to the aging Shrimp mobile suit that was widely used in the Comet Wars. Large sensors on its head served as sensors to detect friends and foes. It was relatively bulky in appearance, but is capable of moving quickly in short bursts. By N.E. 0311, it was quickly becoming the standard mobile suit unit of all CHROME forces. Several variants were made, amongst them, the Prawn Gunner.

Designed as a heavy weapons assault mobile suit, the Prawn Gunner's armament consists solely of long range weapons, including a 90mm Gatling gun and a hand carried missile launcher. One weakness of the suit lies in its complete lack of any close combat weaponry. 20 units were made all in all and five were assigned to the Remington Fleet in XIPHIDIAS-99.
