Background: It was purchased in 2002 when John's dad went to Japan on a business trip. He was walking down the street looking for a gift that his son would like and saw a model shop. Remembering that John liked that kind of thing he went inside and purchased it. However, as soon as the meetings started up he forgot about his gift and ended up giving to him 9 years later. But at that, luckily for the father, John still had a passion for models, and quickly assembled the tiny mobile suit. With his artistic skills being what they were, he left the coloring as it was.
