However since Alex was from a poor family he had no way of aquiring a gunpla till he saved a young man who turned out to be the son of a very sucessful business tycoon manager. The two became friends and shortly after he purchased the Gundam 00: Cherudim Gundam GNHW/R model kit for Alex. Soon they were venturing off to the gunpla cafe to play as often as they could.
