Gunpla History: Boss Chief had been an active plamodeler since the early 90's. Now in his forties, he is considered a maestro in modeling, with works appearing in popular model magazines all over Japan. This one, is his favorite kit, the SUMO from Turn A Gundam. It is considered a "perfect" kit. Although no complex mods have been made, all of the basic techniques were done to this kit. All parts were aligned, sealed with hobby cement, nubs were eliminated, and a silver layer of paint was applied before the red gloss was put on.
Although Boss Chief never participated in any official match, his goal is to train the next generation of Gundam fans. For that reason alone, Boss Chief used his red SUMO to conduct tutorials for many young and inexperienced players. When one looks at the SUMO carefully, there is a small decal on its left arm with the words "The Power of Youth, Friendship and Dreams".
