April 25, LC 214 Tres Marias, A Research Satellite in the Depths of Space...
Tres Marias, a giant asteroid in the zone of space known as The Shoal. It was once an AEO mining base, but after the Second Lunar War, it was decommissioned and declared as abandoned. Fearing the possibility of collapse, FUSE declared it "condemned", and has since been left alone.
But that did not stop the homeless CHROME forces, led by Sierra Arabello from inhabiting it. An entire year was devoted to maintenance, and soon the CHROME drifters found a new home, away from the prying eyes of FUSE. For many years they have stayed here, building up their forces, and upgrading their technology. However, they lacked experience pilots, for most of them died in the previous War...

Cheese spent the last five days adjusting to the two newest additions to his motley crew: Kain, and Kanzaki. He originally planned on killing Kanzaki, but thanks to Risa's efforts, Cheese changed his mind. He had kept Kanzaki on close watch with Haros with tasers, and so far it seemed like he was a trust worthy fellow. But he didn't know what to do with him.
And here they were, just outside the Tres Marias. It was a sea of debris, literally. Cheese consulted his star-map, and well it was accurate, so far. While he sat down in his grand, Captain's chair, he munched on some chicken obtained at Kenfucky's.
"Heh. So CHROME's in charge of this place eh... I wonder what's inside. I'll leave the talking to ya... old Ghost..." As the Fortissimo slowly entered the territory of Tres Marias, Cheese took some time off by napping, leaving the controls to the Haros, and command of the ship to Kain.

"I have a bad feeling about this...." Angela murmured to herself... strumming her bass guitar lifelessly. Angela was lying down on the steel floor, she had been practicing her bass guitar skills for almost a week. While she had gotten over Stacy's death, she wondered if Risa was too. At least for Angela, she had never met Stacy, so she wasn't as affected as Risa is.
"Soooo, we're going to Tres Marias, receive upgrade parts for the Gundummies and then... well, at least Kain-san is with us. Isn't that right, Haro-chan?" Angela flicked her spherical toy robot. Still anxious, she couldn't explain the apprehension in her heart. She laid down on the floor again, counting the numerous ceiling lights in the hangar.

BLAM BLAM BLAM! Kara had placed her drum set in the hangar, and she began blasting beats across the area with enough noise to wake up the dead. She figured it would be the best way to pass time. When she saw Angela though, she stopped playing.
Kara stood up and walked to the other girl on the floor. Angela didn't seem too happy. Kara squatted down and pulled of a big, fake smile.
"HEY SWEET ANGELA! What's bothering you? Still thinking about Risa's big brother? I'm sure that kid will just cause trouble here on the Fortissimo? Why don't we toss him out of the airlock?" she suggested, still joking. She was just trying to cheer her comrade up.

The Shoal. It was a familiar sight, for Kain Arrows. He could remember as clear as day, the numerous times he sortied here in the Second Luanr War. Those memories, thoughts that haunted him. As he stood on the Fortissimo's bridge with Cheese, his eyes gazed at the floating wreckages from the previous conflict. His eyes caught remains of CHROME mobile suits, Prawns, Jabonggas, and more. With a tear in his eye, he saluted those wrecked CHROME machines.
"Captain, you don't need to be alarmed. Unlike the Moussaiga, or even FUSE, CHROME Forces would never attack a non-hostile ship. Distinguish us from the others... we are men of honor and pride..." Kain spoke, but his words fell on deaf ears. When he turned around he saw Cheese sleeping like a baby. Kain smiled, but only slightly.
"As you wish..." Kain said to nothing but thin air. He sat down on the operator's chair, and used the buttons to send signals to the asteroid base looming ahead of them. He used an old CHROME signal that only true CHROME personnel can understand. It was an audio code consisting of blips and beeps.
"Angela, Kara, and all of you. Forgive me for using you to get back home... it may be a coincidence, but I am sure your destinies are bound to be greater than living as false mercenaries. I'm sorry. My loyalty to a higher purpose overrides everything..." Kain went on inside his head. He felt very bad about this, but he still wanted to push through with his plan.

"Feeling so pathetic today?" a voice came out from behind the pillars. The shadowy figure emerged from the darkness, revealing itself to be Risa. She had been hiding in this spot for quite some time now, thinking about the stressful events of last week. She stepped forward, seeing her brother clutching something in his hand.
She had also heard Kanzaki whisper a name. "Ayana", he said. Because it was silent here, she heard it. And that was what prompted her to show herself.
"So... this Ayana. You got yourself a girlfriend while you were still in FUSE huh?" Risa asked him. She was curled up like a ball, floating in front of Kanzaki thanks to space having no gravity. Her eyes were tightly focused on her brother's lips as she floated past him.

Distracted, His thoughts scattered was even more derailed when an unexpected voice went out from behind him, from the Ship's pillars. It was his beloved sister, Risa. Kanzaki clenched the hand he held the clip in and quickly put in his pant pocket casually as he turned to face Risa only to find her a bit higher than him as she floated over him and then past him, his head followed her motion.
"Not really feeling pathetic...Just thinking..." he said as an excuse while he closed his eyes while uttering the words.
He then looked again to his sister, Oh how she has grown, from the little toddler he left her. To someone stronger than him, at least that's how he viewed it. A bemused smile escaped his lips as he walked towards the large windows of the viewing balcony and seemed to grab the tiny little sphere called earth from his view, when Risa posed a question to him about Ayana's existence.
"Girlfriend huh...?" he said in a questioning manner, his hand seemingly holding the earth and trying to examine it absentmindedly. "If she was still alive...she could've been..."
He took a step back and dug both his hands in his pant pockets eyes narrowing towards earth, remembering what happened. The flames in Castrato. Ayana's Bloody Face. Her final words. And lastly...the lasting pain that he felt.
"..But then again all her final words to me were...she always thought she liked me..." He turned his head again this time towards his floating sister's direction and gave her a small smile telling her it was alright. "Not a definitive answer...But hey, It's better than not being liked yes?" he asked his sister.
"How about you any past boyfriends or current boyfriends? That Tomoya guy seems to be your current one basing from what the haros tell me...or they might be lying?"
He playfully asked his sister, trying to steer the conversation away from an awkward topic. Castrato after all wasn't that good of a memory for both of them. If he was right, He berated his sister back then while Ayana was at his lap.

"Hmmmm... so you were in Castrato a few months ago. Thought the voice sounded familiar. The Harlequin... I suppose she was the one in the Uesugi. BUT!!! You were lucky I didn't shoot you!" Risa playfully smiled at her brother, in troll-face mode. She kicked off the wall, and floated back to Kanzaki. She snatched the pink phone from his pocket, and grabbed on to a ledge. She "sat" down by the window, though she wasn't really sitting because of the absence of gravity.
Risa tinkered with her old phone for a while. After all, it WAS hers. She browsed through the old pictures of her and Kanzaki, while her brother was still speaking. When Kanzaki was done, she flipped the phone's cover shut and tossed it back to him. His question annoyed her, and a pale shade of blue descended on her cute little face.
"That Tomogotchi? Hahahah! Gross, just gross. He's a mercenary we hired, and because he had no place to go home to, we offered him a home here on the ship. He's not our type at all. He's a creepy stalker, always saying that he'll 'protect' us. But from Kara's story Tomo chickened out at the sight of the Moussaigas in Afghanistan... and he also jizzes in our used panties. But I'm not scared of him. I keep my vagina guarded pretty well!!" Risa answered with a laugh.
She suddenly remembered Tomoya. "Where is that idiot anyway? Probably stalking Angela, but he'll probably get friend-zoned! ZONE OF THE FRIENDERS!!!" she laughed again.

After a long time, and after five days at the fortissimo and being kept under strict watch, They had finally had time to talk. Though Kanzaki wasn't expecting it to be at this place, well He'll just try to find some other place he can't be found easily, after all he can't allow her to see him being weak, like right now.
Bright side though was at least her spirits weren't dampened. Her cheerful demeanor shone brighter than any star that surrounded them even though she told him what if she could've shot him down.
Kanzaki simply shook his head and teased his sister.
"As if you could shoot down a very angry man back then" He put a hand to his waist and looked to the side and uttered. "And if you shot me down, Well that would've been cruel fate playing as always..."
A cryptic message perhaps? Did his subconscious slip up? He couldn't discern. And then his sister swam in zero gravity and took his phone away.
"Hey! Give it-" He scolded her, but then he realized. It WAS HERS. He only kept it as memento, and realizing that he quickly shut up and just hoped she didn't dig through his text and voice messages. His heart seemed to explode until Risa tossed his phone back to him, He caught it with one hand and immediately gone to check on the kinds of messages he had.
A sigh of relief was heard, and his face showed comfort knowing there was none deleted. He placed it on one of his better pockets which made it hard to get if she or anyone else planned to get it. Suddenly her face turned blue, he didn't know why, but she rattled on about Tomoya being a Tamagotchi or whatnot.
A look of disbelief replaced Kanzaki's expression, He didn't know if what she said were exaggerations or truth but it made the cogs in his mind go slower. Wait what? He's not our type. Why is she using plural? Does this mean this Tomoya man is linked not only to her but to the other foxes as well? He must be a dashing knight to them then. Though the cogs in his mind went alright again, the first thing that went into his mind was tease his sister.
"Basing from what you say...well, this tomogotchi dude must be real important to you guys to be pissed about..." Chuckling he continued on. "From the sound of how you just said all those things in about a 100 word per second speed. You must like him?"
Kanzaki shook his head and laughed lightly. Teasing his sister was still priceless, there was still the kick in doing it. Though his laughter quickly turned to choke after he heard her say something...that isn't really necessary to say.

His laughter stuck at his throat, he choked and he arched forward trying to get air as he coughed. Damn Karma moves fast.
"Alright, Alright..." he managed to say albeit coughing. "I get it, but you really don't have to say that out loud."
He thought he heard her say "Zone of the Frienders". It reminded him of the game "Zone of the Enders" he used to play in the Playstation 2 with his sister beside him watching him play. Nostalgia strikes again.

"MAKE WAY BAKA-CHANS!!" Kara Shiranui yelled, kicking the balcony door open. She was carrying a piece of paper, and a Haro floated beside her. The little green machine told her where Risa went, and Kara dragged Angela by the collar with her as well. However, she seemed to have walked into a sensitive moment, between brother and sister. But such norms of society, aren't normal to her. Growing in an incubation chamber for most of her childhood, and spending a short, tragic time with a man named David (the same person who taught her how to play drums), Kara wasn't really what you'd call a ''normal girl".
"Hey Risa! Angela and I are here to show you my finest work of art. Introducing..." Kara announced, unfolding the crumpled sheet of paper that she had been carrying. She proudly showed Kanzaki and Risa her "masterpiece"... a crude drawing of Tomoya and Kanzaki's genitals.
"A CERTAIN SCIENTIFIC STUDY OF THE HUMAN PENIS OF THE TWO WIMPS ON FORTISSIMO!!!! BOTH OF THESE PENISES ARE SHORTER THAN THE NORMAL!!" Kara snickered. She hoped it would cheer both Risa and Angela up. It wasn't normal for her to be humorous, but at least Kara is trying her best.
