PART B: Gundam X Divider vs Kshatriya

RULES: This battle is a one on one match. Natsume (Lalionus) vs. Leon (Usam1981). The Kshatriya will be red, while the Gundam X Divider will be on the blue. Show stats and cards before I roll the dice to start the match.




"Palau is a civilian mining asteroid belonging to Side 6 that was brought into the Earth sphere from the asteroid belt. It was used as a base of operations by the Sleeves. In U.C. 0096, Londo Bell and ECOAS launched an attack on the asteroid to retrieve Banagher Links and the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam. ECOAS first planted a number of explosives that separated Palau's four asteroids, before the Nahel Argama fired a hyper-mega particle cannon attack to seal off the military port. The Federation forces then engaged the Sleeves forces, while leaving the civilian unit unscathed."

Leon leans back in his pod, wondering what he had gotten himself into. This was only his second fight, and he was already fighting a very powerfull enemy. He would have to be very carefull with this fight, and be smart if he was to win this.

The Asteroid of Palau…

From the ghostly ruins of the Palau Asteroid, came a dark, massive silhouette. From a far view, it appeared to be a small ship, but once the four wings opened up, it was clear that it was a mobile suit. A very large, and powerful one at that. Natsume’s Kshatriya awakened from its lethargy. Sensing the Gundam X Divider up ahead, Natsume readied her funnels for deployment.

“Natsume Ichimonji, Kshatriya… Deru!” she said. A 3d model of the Garancieres warship passed above her, flying southeast. It was controlled by Mr. Ichimonji himself. “I decided to fly by… and watch you fight from afar…” Natsume’s dad said. He was at the counter, using the computer to act as a spectator. The players and other bystanders can see him from time to time as the Garancieres ship on the map, unattackable though, and cannot attack as well.

“Yes Master, errrr… I mean dad!” said Natsume. The Kshatriya spun like a tornado, slowly but surely throwing its mass around, aided by the burst of powerful thrusters. It was like a big, purple bell pepper darting across the field.

Leon sighs as he moves his mobile suit from the starter location to point H-13, and leans back. He knew this would be a long and difficult fight, and that there was a large chance he would lose this, but he planned to put everything he had into it.

Kshatriya's Phase/Turn

Although the Kshatriya was a massive mobile suit it had fairly good mobility thanks to the thruster-mounting wing binders.

Natsume's Kshatriya moves to: M-8

Natsume’s Kshatriya is armed with a grand total of twenty-four funnels for all-range attacks. Each funnel possesses a powerful beam gun that is capable of melting an enemy mobile suit's armor. Six are stored within each of the Kshatriya's four binders, and are remotely controlled primarily through use of the psychoframe-equipped cockpit. These funnels are used primarily to allow the Kshatriya to engage large numbers of enemies at the same time, or to allow it to overwhelm a powerful foe.

Upon reaching her destination, Natsume saw that Leon Beldi’s Gundam X was close enough to be attacked. She unleashed her funnels at the Gundam-type. Soon swarms of purple bits danced around Leon, spraying beams from every direction possible.


“You have to be quite good to dodge that…” she whispered to Leon over the comm..

More and more funnels came to surround Leon Beldi. The funnels, aided by Natsume's "nerve clips", amplifying reaction time and shot power. However, Natsume was holding back. In the entire time that the funnels deployed, her eyes were closed. Once the mental image of the Gundam X Divider became clear, she felt a jolt of electricity on her head. She immediately opened her eyes, making the funnels "dance" faster around Leon.


"Go! Funnels!" she commanded the Kshatriya's remote weapons. They zipped and zoomed past the Gundam, circling it like moths attracted to a flame. Firing teal-colored beams at the Gundam's direction, they attacked relentlessly, allowing Leon barely any room to dodge.

(It is your turn now Usam. React to the attack, and then do your own actions)

Leon brings up his shield to block the attack, and moves forward one space to I-12. He raises up his Beam Machine gun and opens fire on the enemy unit.

"This is not going to do anything, but I have to take down that shield, and I have to do it now."

Leon says under his breath.

"I just hope I last long enough to do that."

The Kshatriya merely raised its wing-binders for cover, deflecting half of the attack's total power. Once the Gundam X Divider was done, the massive purple mobile suit moved closer to the Gundam-type at I-11. Natsume smiled. She had never fought such a bold opponent before.

"You're good! I really wanted to fight somebody like this. My hats off to you!" she said enthusiastically. The Kshatriya drew out its beam saber, which was grabbed by one of its wing-manipulators. Speeding closer to the Gundam X Divider, Natsume's mobile suit swished at it, hoping to connect for a powerful blow.

Leon raised his shield and deflected half the dammage from the beam saber away, as he responded.

"Thanks, lets have a good fight. This will be a good chalenge."

Leon has his unit put away the machine gun, and has it pull out it's own beam sword. His unit takes a swing at the enemy with the powerfull sword.

Natsume got an alert beep on her screen. The Gundam X, while hit with her own beam saber, countered back with his own. Talk about payback. While the beam saber was closing in on Natsume, she pressed a button, activating the Kshatriya "Amethyst's" hidden feature.

The mobile suit glowed bright blue when its I-Field was activated. The beams from Leon's saber was repelled easily by the anti-beam field.

"You're very good! But, not quite good enough to beat me!" she chided her foe. Once again the Kshatriya took out another beam saber, this time on the left hand. She dashed closer and aimed the strike this time at the Gundam's leg. "I'll make sure you can't run away from me... no, not this time..." she teased Leon Beldi.

Leon quickly brings up his shield, using it for the last block, while using a few choice words under his breath so that no one outside could hear him when his beam saber was blocked. He makes a quick decission, and activates his hot blood card, then fires off his Vulcans.

The vulcans hit the Kshatriya’s crotch, implaning deep holes on it. Natsume just laughed.

Natsume could feel it. Victory was within her grasp. Although she was winning the match, she had great respect for Leon Beldi. Even with an inferior mobile suit, Leon weathered the storm, returning with blows of his own. So far, Natsume’s Kshatriya had only sustained minimal damage. She didn’t want to prolong the fight any longer. The Kshatriya went in, ready to land one more beam saber strike at the Gundam.

---------------KSHATRIYA’S TURN--------------------

“It was a very good fight. You destroyed the Unicorn Gundam with no trouble. But you see, the Kshatriya is in a different league. Now, Amethyst shall teach you what a total wipeout means!” Challenging the Gundam X Divider, head-on, Natsume showed herself on the monitor.

“Best game I had in a long time. Thank you, sir…” she told him. The Garancieres flew past them, Natsu’s dad in spectator mode.

“Go get him my baby girl…” Mr. Ichimonji cheered for his daughter. The Hana Ban Ban customers roared with cheers of their own. Banging empty water bottles on the wall they chanted, “Let’s go Natsume!” again and again.

The Kshatriya didn't move and just took the damage as is. Then Natsume pressed the button for vulcans. "Very well then, this is... the end for you..." Natsume said. The Kshatriya moved forward and fired bullets from its chest guns.

Natsume got off the seat, and went back to the counter. Her dad was so happy for her. She glanced at the HGAW Gundam X Divider’s manual and her eyes nearly fell out of the sockets. She went back to Leon Beldi and gave him the manual.

“How could you forget that you were supposed to have a Hyper Bazooka! No wonder it wasn’t scanned!!!” she said, laughing. She took Leon’s card from his hand, and swiped it on the machine again. Putting some special password she voided the loss record against Kshatriya.

“Do some research next time. Okay? And when you place together a kit, make sure you check all the sprues. Basics, my friend, basics…” she said, wiggling her butt as she walked off back to the counter.

MATCH IS VOID DUE TO NATSUME'S DECISION.
