Boss Chief looked at Javier a bit. The boy was trying to make up for his rash actions in the past... with more rash action. He knew that Javier was dying inside to fight. After rubbing his beard, Boss Chief kicked Javier's chair and placed his large hands on the boy's shoulders.
"Going into a Galluss-J, several miles below the surface is like asking for a coffin. While your mobile suit, won't get crushed by the immense pressure in these depths, you will be outmanuevered by these faster GM suits. But who am I to stop you. Heck, I even dared you to kill me earlier. IF YOU WANT TO DIE, GO. SORTIE OUT AND DO AS YOU WISH, BOY..." he told Javier. Boss Chief turned around and left the room, headed for the bridge.
"There's no place on this ship for heroes. Heroes are the worst soldiers..." Boss Chief grumbled as he sat on the Captain's seat, knowing somehow that he needed guys like Javier to grow up and be true men of Zeon.

Lazra nodded in aknowledgement, and headed off in the direction of the bridge. He soon reached the designated area, and sighed standing with his arms crossed as he watched all the soldiers around the room. "All of you need to keep calm, they might have surprised us but this is nothing Zeon cannot handle," Lazra said, looking to the radar, watching the three blips moving around.

RAG-79 Aqua GM
The RAG-79 Aqua GM is an aquatic mobile suit developed by the Earth Federation. Unlike the Principality of Zeon who developed a series of new mobile suits fully dedicated to amphibious combat, the Earth Federation instead adapted its ever versatile and always reliable GM series to create its own amphibious combat mobile suit.
While this decision allowed the Earth Federation to produce a new-purpose mobile suit for little cost, the Aqua GM suffered from technological restrictions because of the frame they use. One such restriction was the Minovsky type ultracompact fusion reactor. Unlike Zeon amphibious mobile suits which were designed to take advantage of using the ocean as a natural heat sink, the Aqua GM used the same type of reactor as the standard GM which limited its ability to use beam weapons. To compensate the Aqua GM is outfitted with a large number of torpedo/missile launchers.

Victor Solano was sitting inside the cockpit of his Zaku Mariner, performing maintenance on his cockpit instruments. He had heard of some type gathering occurring in the sub’s meager bar, but duty prevented him from attending. After all, it was the duty of all Zeon pilots to maintain their Suits in top condition, less the Federation surprise. Leaning back from the console for a moment, Victor sighed and looked out at the mostly empty bay. Clenching his teeth in frustration, he brought his fist down on the main console.
“Damn it! Is this what the armies of Zeon have been reduced to, a bunch of refugees hiding under the waves from the Federation Navy? If only Colonel Char were still alive, we would be free from the damn Earthers.”
Victor exhaled heavily, withdrawing his dully aching hand from the console. Instead, he withdrew a small picture from his jacket pocket, running his hand along it.
“No Victor; now’s not the time for melancholy. You still have a duty to perform for the Principality. Even now, I must strike back at the Federal dogs. Isn’t that right Mom, Dad?”
Before he could return to work, the first Feddie torpedoes detonated. Lurching forward, Victor barely prevented himself from being thrown from the seat. The young Ensign immediately considered heading out, only to realize that his MS’ computer was in no situation to immediately sortie. Grunting in annoyance, Victor instead contacted the bridge to gain some understanding of the situation.
“Bridge, this is Ensign Solano in the forward hangar. Please confirm the situation, was that a Feddie attack? Requesting orders. Be advised, my MS is currently non-functional.”

Javier quickly dressed in his pilot suit, and ran to the submarine's garage where the mobile suits are kept. He found the Galluss-J, and climbed it. He opened the machine's door and slid in. Without placing his helmet off, he called out the one in charge of the gates.
"I'm ready. And I got permission... from the Chief. So please, open the doors..." he requested in a very serious tone. The submarine's gate opened wide and allowed the green robot to slip out of the Mad Angler.
Due to Javier's lack of experience though, and for using an inappropriate mobile suit the Galluss-J started to sink very slowly. Javier stepped on the pedals hard, but it was just that tough for the Galluss-J to stay afloat, unlike the other machines in the sea which could glide through the currents. Must be the lack of turbines.
Eventually he made it near Rap and had his own mobile suit stand on some large rocks. But Javier's pride won't let him accept any other. This was the suit that he used to try help Loni, but failed. He wanted another shot at proving his capabilities as a real soldier.

The trip to the ship was fast, but the loading of the suits will take time. Magnusson went to the ship's main hall, taking with him, his pet pig named Sierra. He allowed the dirty pig to go about the hall, salivating as it went. The crew of the Empyrean wanted to tell Magnusson that livestock should be kept in a separate section of the ship, but they were afraid.
He took out the list of the new Londo Bell pilots and picked a name randomly. He had the entire base broadcast his message through a walkie talkie.
"Warrant Officer Kazahara Hayase, report to the ship and see me immediately. My pet pig needs to take a bath and you are the unlucky soul who will bathe him. Quick!" he said, wanting to test the patience of these new boys.

It wasn’t long after they had returned to the ship that it seemed Magnusson was going to continue with his overly aggressive nature. Hayase heard from the ship’s PA system.

Hayase looked over the Lieutenant patted him on the shoulder. “I got this one.” He said as he walked away. As Hayase walked through the ship he thought back on Capt. Magnusson’s actions so far. everything he seemed to be doing was little more than what he would describe as hazing and an abuse over his authority and power. After a few minutes Hayase entered the room when Magnusson and his “pet” were. “Kazahara Reporting as requested..Sir.”

Ulysses, being the first to get into his suit and arrive at the Empyrean, took the shortest amount of time to get loaded. So, once his suit was secured he hopped out and started to wander the halls to get better accustomed to the vessel.
While he didn't like their methods, he had to admit that Londo Bell kept a tight ship. But considering that it really was just a fan-club for Bright Noa, it only lowered his opinion even further. Noa was the only capable commander they had. He was a no-nonsense type of guy and really the rest of Londo Bell would be better of if they followed that example.
Finally coming across the main hall, Grant saw the Captain and his pet pig with Hayase standing before him.. The Lieutenant had noticed the pig in the jeep when he walked up but didn't say anything.
Walking over to the Captain, he saluted. "The Custom Striker is loaded and ready for departure, sir!"

After loading the GM Sniper II for himself into the Empyrean, he didn't feel quite satisfied. The lacking feeling was the fact that he didn't have his favorite GM variant, the Cannon II. Of course, he didn't feel quite right without having it in reserve at least.
After loading the GM Cannon II into the back of the hangar, he still felt something wrong. It was a creeping feeling in the back of his mind as if he should have known it from the beginning...

Casually reckless as usual, Thanatos sprang out of the cockpit, and onto the scaffolding 2 floors below the cockpit level. From there he dashed out of the ship and back out to the Torrington base and back to where he had left the girl.
Aw man, she's really out of it...
Content with the fact that he even remembered her, he lifted the girl and started back toward the ship.
Well my nameless compatriot, I have a feeling that you and I are gonna be friends.
once at the base, he took her to the infirmary, avoiding Magnusson and his harsh opinions. Once he checked her in and set her on the bed, he sat in the seat to the side of the bed and closed his eyes to sleep until either the girl awakened or the mission was to start.

Angela's eyes slowly opened. She saw a bright light hanging above her. It was a sight she had never seen in the Torrington base, everything felt different. With a jolt, she got up and saw Thanatos sitting beside her.
She had seen him a couple of times before, around the base way back before Magnusson came. She smiled at him, embarrassed. She rubbed her foggy eyes and asked the kind pony-tailed man a question.
"Where are we, and what are we doing here? What happened?" she kindly asked Thanatos "Theo" Erikson.

Having washed that awful taste from her mouth, Tatiana went to the bridge and assumed her seat as the Captain of the warship. Even if Magnusson was the "bigger dog" she was the boss when it came to the Empyrean. At the very best, Magnusson will be treated like a VIP here, but all of the decisions will come from Tatiana. Because of this fact, fortune seemed to smile down upon the young female captain.
She remained silent for the most part, only issuing orders about the ship's destination and the necessary formalities to her crew. At last, the Empyrean slowly descended from the ground, and started to rise up to the sky. Whatever Magnusson was cooking, he was not absolute here.
"How many minutes before we reach New Zealand's waters?" she asked the navigator. The ever-vigilant officer replied.
"57 minutes we use max thrust. We're carrying over a dozen mobile suits now that the Torrington team has joined us, making us slower and heavier than usual. Captain, this will be our very first battle in the gravity environments. Do you think---" the Navigator blurted out, but was cut off by Tatiana's palm. "Just speed toward the coordinates and from there, I'll tell you the orders. Inform all of the Londo Bell pilots to get their mobile suits ready in 20 minutes. Have all calibrations made to full gravity setting..." she ordered, before reclining back to the seat.

Warrant Officer Alexander Del Tierro passed by the hall where Magnusson and Hayase were standing. He saw a small pig beside Magnusson. He thought that perhaps it was the pig that Capt. Magnusson was referring to in the speakers.
Alexander stood beside Hayase Kazahara, and glanced at him slightly. He turned and faced Magnusson too, saluted the Captain well, with proper posture. After that, he whispered to Hayase's ear. "Londo Bell? Can't believe you subject your captain to that kind of humiliation. I guess there aren't any real men in Londo Bell..." Alexander taunted Hayase.

Having spent some time down in the Hanger, watching as those Federal Army forces loaded their machines aboard, and ensuring that Warrant Officer Hayase was okay with his 'orders', Luciano had proceeded to the bridge to see how the Captain was handling with the task at hand and to receive his own orders. He still felt heavily guilty for the embarrassment she had to suffer in front of that evil, evil man. Luc's fists clenched at the mere thought of what had happened so he pushed that incident to the back of his mind for later consideration. The words from the ship's Navigator broke him from his little self-world in his head.
He had to admit, the Navigator had a very valid point. If Magnusson was not such an annoyance and got his own ship the Empyrean could have already arrived to assist the border forces. Instead both his squadron and Magnusson's men would be late to the party. He sighed, trying to stop himself from doing anything stupid whilst the Federal Forces Captain was aboard. He turned to the Captain noticing that she seemed like at home on the bridge of her ship, "Captain, what is the current status of the forces currently engaging the Remnants? Can they hold out until we arrive?", he spoke concerned for the pilot's safety.

All of the Londo Bell pilots had made it safely onboard and had already taken off. James was appalled by Magnusson, taking command of someone else's ship. It just looked like he was flaunting his authority over everyone else. He had changed out of his uniform and into his pilot suit. He was eating some stew and bread from the mess hall as he waited in the hangar. He then got word that all pilots must have there mobile suits ready and on standby. He finished his meal and went towards one of the mobile suits, a ReZEL.
He climbed up to the cockpit and sat in the pilots seat. "I'll be heading out in this for the mission. Please inform the Captain of this would you?" He said to one of the technicians before closing the hatch. He turned all of the ReZELs systems on, checking to see if they were all calibrated for atmosperic combat. He saw that they weren't finished yet and opened up the cockpit. "Hey when will the calibrations be finished?" He asked another one of the techs. "About 10 minutes or so. Just hold your horses already, we'll get the job done."("Well at least they've still got there personality. *sigh* I won't let you down this time Captain, I promise you.") Then he closed the hatch again and waited on standby in the cockpit.

Dust laughed at the Jr. Grade, his usual focus had already led him to help the techs calibrate his suit for gravity and his personal piloting style. He opened up his comm "What's the matter, your suit not ready yet? Don't tell me an Ensign is going to be leading the charge today"
He grinned, the Jesta he was in wasn't a bad suit at all, but he really wanted that Rezel, "Looks like I will just have to earn it", he said to hjimself. He moved his Jesta over to a Base Jabber and got in posistion to get ready to launch, "Alright Tatiana I guess it is time I made it up to you." He kissed the Cattleya in his cockpit and placed it in his pocket.

As he waited for the calibrations to his MS to be finished, LTJG. Kirkland recieved a transmission from Ensign Shikai who was in a Jesta at the time.

When I found you, you were unconscious and had some blood on you so I gave you a quick cleaning and sat you on the side of a mobile suit. I was hoping you'd be awake before anything happened, but we've been alerted about some zeon remnants, so I brought you to the ships infirmary so you could be here in case you woke up. I have to admit that I almost forgot about you.
We're going to be launching a raid on them once we arrive. If you think your up to it, you can head out with us.

Elliot sat on the edge of her bed methodically running a small wire brush through the various metal and fiberglass components that made up her side-arm. Keeping one's equipment in good working order was every soldiers' duty, but Elliot had to admit that this simple, methodical set of actions was something she did more for her own sake than out of a pure sense of duty. Cleaning a gun was a simple thing to do run brush A through hole C and so on. It was simple, predictable, and produced tangible results and benifits if one was diligent. Most importantly though a gun never demanded a bribe, or other "favors", in order to be cleaned. She was pleased that at least to date, the crew of this submarine seemed to be of the decent sort, even if the one known as Rap made her feel uneasy every now and then.
She had just finished putting the pistol together when the a pair of dull thuds followed by a more violent than usual shaking ran through the ship. Holstering the weapon she hastily made her way to the pilot's prep area, and began pulling on the bulky normal suit over her uniform. punching a comm button she contacted the bridge.
"Sergeant Lucas reporting for duty, awaiting orders." Her voice was calm and flat, though her innards were beginning to twist themselves into knots. She was nervous, she was always nervous whenever there was a sortie, but over the years she had learned how to deal with that feeling of impending death and turn it into something that would keep her sharp and focused at the task at hand.

"Hak hak hak hak! AHAK -- HAK HAK!" Rap kept on laughing when he saw the Galluss mobile suit landing beside him. He flipped on a few of those panels and wired a line to the Galluss suit. He was surprised when he saw Javier's face on the camera.
"You're a fakking idiot! That mobile suit isn't build for aquatic combat you fakking dimwit! I should pull your tongue and thread it up your anus after this battle you fakking son of a bitch! Fakk yah!" he angrily screamed at Javier, reprimanding the lad for following him. Rap exhaled, and jumped off to the direction of the GM pair.
"THE FAKKING SEAS OF THE UNIVERSAL CENTURY ARE MINE! THIS IS MY TIME, FAKKERS!" he threatened the Feddies with his Z'Gok's glowing camera eye.

"Two mobile suits, Jim!" Huck, the younger of the two pilots remarked. He was expecting a full squad of aquatic suits, but was relieved to find just two. Still, he wasn't sure if the submarines still had extra mobile suits in it. For the moment, his attention was fixed on the Galluss-J and the Z'Gok that were right in front of him.
"I'm... I'm going in, Jim!" Huck said, propelling himself to the the Galluss-J. The second Aqua GM moved in closer to the Galluss-J, and pointed its large torpedoes at it. Huck smiled as the crosshairs aligned themselves on the green Zeon suit. With a flick of a finger, Huck released the ballistic weapons at Javier. Huck prayed for a successful hit.

Magnusson saluted the two back, then left the pig in Hayase's care. He was tired, and wanted to take a short nap. He went to the special quarters provided for the VIPs and lay there. Sierra, the pig, looked at Hayase and squealed. It licked Hayase's shoe, then darted off as fast as its short, stout legs could carry him. It went to the pilot quarters down the hall. If Hayase does not bathe Sierra before Magnusson wakes up, he will be in trouble.

Dust laughed loudly and responded, "As expected of one so young. It looks like you are holding quite the grude against me and that you are still quite upset about hwat happened earlier. Take it from someone with more experience than you, right before a large battle is not the time to bicker, hold a grudge, or be angry. If we aren't in full sync out there then one or both of us could die. If you wish to chew me out then please save it for when we come back." He then kicked back in his suit and waited for them to reach the battle zone.

Javier saw two missiles coming at him at high speed. Sadly, the Galluss-J can't react fast in aquatic environments. The mobile suit just used its arms to block off the brunt of the force. The missiles exploded violently, one stronger than the other. When the bubbles cleared away, Javier saw that the Galluss-J's right arm was busted... and there along with it, went away the last of his defenses.
He was a sitting duck.
"This is... impossible! What's wrong with you Galluss, can't you hear me? You're supposed to evade those bombs! Not to just stay there... darn it! This will be like Torrington all over again!" he wailed.

"Nice shot Huck. You'll be a very fine pilot someday, that I tell you!"... said Jim. Jim noticed that Huck's attack somehow disabled the Galluss-J's right arm. Seizing the opportunity, Jim went behind Huck and also aimed his torpedo cannon things at the Galluss unit. "Very well, you're going down down down like a record baby going down down!" Jim said, setting his sights on Javier.
"Large Torpedo, aiming... targeting green mobile suit... here we go, Huckey!" Jim said, as he watched his own crosshairs, inch by inch zooming in at the unfortunate mobile suit of Zeon. He took a deep breath of oxygen, and exhaled it in the form of carbon dioxide. His visor fogged up with the hot breath, and he smiled. Before pressing the trigger, he looked at a picture of his fiancee on the dashboard. "After this mission Huck, I'll go home and marry my dear Paige. And I'll retire from the military..." Jim said with sparkling eyes.
"Here we go! Five four, three two... and bring it!!" Jim's Aqua GM fired two torpedoes aimed at Javier's cockpit.
