Ashkur blocked the bullet again this time with his Katana, but a portion of the attack was still able to graze his shoulder. "If this keeps up. I'll be forced to use..."

Ashkur kept calm despite being shot twice already. He was tempted to use his Katana but he vowed to only use it against his enemies, and Hirmm was clearly just a jack's ass but he was still an ally. He threw a spinning kick aimed to disarm Hirmm's pistol.

Hirmm wanted to try and cut Ashkur again but a hand stopped him.


Gail:

Gail had returned and just in time to save his poor friend Hirmm from a beat down.

--"I'm sorry for the trouble my teammates have cause Sergeant Fullburst. I'll report this to the commander immediately."


Hirmm:

Gail:
--"That's enough Hirmm, you too Christian. You two are no match for the Sergeant just let it go."


Christian:

Gail pulled the bloody and battered Hirmm out of the pilot room. Christian followed them but not before leaving Ashkur with one final sentiment.

"Well I guess this one's yours..." Stacy's alter-ego said, before leaving her back to her normal self. Stacy's snapped back to reality, confronted with three giant lasers headed for her. "Haro! Help me desu!!" she squealed. Thankfully the wise Haro pulled the lever up and activated Shield Defense Command.

"What's happening!? UWAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Help me please! Risa I can't handle this, desu!" After Nereid's successful attack, Gundam Symphonia's shield looked very badly trashed, and one of its wings already gone. The machine's stability started to malfunction, and made Stacy panic around, flapping her arms like a penguin.


"I don't want to die!" she cried. Tears rolled down her cheeks as well as mucus seeping out of her nose. Poor little Stacy hugged her Haro tight while her dearest Symphonia slowly began to drop in altitude...

"Where's your bravado now, GANDAM!? Where's your tenacity!? Your ruthlessness... where is it!?" Lexine continued to taunt Stacy. "I'm just warming up. If I can't shoot you down, I'll CARVE YOU INTO LITTLE PIECES! Hnggggggaaah!" The secondary arms of Nereid began to show signs of life. Lexine channeled her reactor energy into the beam emitters on both claw arms. A wicked smile appeared on her crazy face.



"GANDAM GANDAM GANDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!! You are a nuisance! The Gundam is my enemy and I will defeat it! Mister Schneider wants me to defeat the Gundam!!!!" The gigantic mobile weapon tore across the azure sky, and flew upwards. The normal arms seized the Symmphonia by the waist. By then, she gave the pilot named Stacy a glimpse of the disaparity of their size and power. Against the Nereid Custom, the Gundam was very small. The clawed arms alone were almost as long as the entire length of the Gundam itself, and with the beam extended, even more so.

Before striking the suit with its beam sabers, Lexine's grip pressed harder against the Symphonia's torso. She let Stacy hear her laughing inside. "Kahahahahah! Are you scared? Are you crapping in your boots right now!? Where's your friend? She can't even move here in mid air! YOU. ARE. MINE!" and with that the Nereid Custom delivered a twin slash at the Symphonia Gundam.

Every word that Lexine told her seemed to pierce Stacy's soul. In terms of mind games, Lexine was winning. Before Stacy even noticed it, the bigger robot has gotten a grip on her. The monitors around Stacy began to crack and started to bust out. Sharp shards of glass flew around, slicing off her skin lightly. Faced with her own death, poor, sweet Stacy uttered a little player to drown out Lexine's words.

Just in time Stacy had finished the prayer, and kicked out of the Nereid's grasp. It was too late though, as the giant robot's laser swords were already on their way down. The Symphonia's leg got sliced off at the knee. The other sword came down, but once again Symphonia's shield saved Stacy. She flied away from the relentless beast, keeping a safe distance while crying desperately.

"Aniki! Hang on tight! This will be a bumpy ride! Haro, thrusters to the max! Full power, please!" Risa's Haro set the engines at maximum operating capability. Gundam Resonance flanked the red mobile suit, gripping the Ignition Blade in a reverse, ninja-like position. The wind turbulence up here was staggering. Without the proper adjustments for sky battles, Resonance struggled to move.



"Pull back Stacy, because you won't be able to withstand more damage. Tch!" Risa radioed Stacy. Resonance burst forth, brandishing its blade towards Lexine's monster. The first swing missed. Risa was getting annoyed. She tried to concentrate more... more and placed her faith into the sword.

"I know we can do this! Resonance! Give me your strength! The Aesir Foxes can't afford to lose! Stacy and Kanzaki are coming home, with me!!!!" And Risa's brave determination allowed her to charge through the thick clouds of her doubtful heart. "I WILL ATTAIN WORLD PEACE THROUGH THIS BLADE! IGNITION.... SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORD!!!!"

The Black Gundam was attacked, rather beat up. The Nereid pilot sure was sick, like how Akira remembered her. Sadistic, murderous and arrogant.
It made his blood boil. He watched and listened as Stacy cried for her life and even prayed to the gods for deliverance.

His grip on risa's seat tightened, He wanted to do something but what? He had no Mobile Suit. For every hit the Symphonia took from the Neried's onslaught, images of the Castrato mission flashed in his mind, The flames, The feeling of loss and powerlessness.

Nothing has changed...Not even one bit... he thought bitterly.


"To fight this thing was a very bad idea why don't we just-" Akira's suggestion was cut, his strategy had not happened and they were already being pummeled and risa apparently was readying herself to attack and shouted words of courage that surprised even him.

Akira felt weak, not physically weak. But rather the little sister he was supposed to protect, the one he left. She was more stronger than him, Akira only looked at Risa dumbfounded as she attacked.

Am I still even needed...? Does she really need someone like me...?

The cockpit shook, apparently Risa's attack connected and it seemed that she hit a sweet-spot of the hulking behemoth. Akira could only look at his sister with pride, admiration with fear and helplessness.

What am I even doing here for her...?

Doubts filled his mind, even amidst the deadly chaos they were in. What purpose could he truly have left? Defying Strategy and cold logic, His sister exhibited something he cannot.
